Ultra Care Corp Agris-Dingman Breast Dissector are designed for sub-mammary or sub-pectoral dissection via the axillary approach. These also have many applications for dissection in primary and delayed breast reconstruction.
The symmetric elliptical tapered edge blade design of Agris-Dingman Breast Dissector maximizes dissection effectiveness, accuracy & safety. Furthermore, the straight shaft of the dissector blade increases efficiency and therefore, allows a single instrument to dissect bilaterally from multiple directions.
These Dissector, meaning they can be locked in place to maintain a consistent level of tissue retraction without constant manual holding. The locking mechanism may be a ratchet or screw mechanism.
The Agris-Dingman Dissector is typically designed as a handheld instrument with two or more atraumatic, finger-like blades or prongs that can be opened and locked in place to hold tissues or organs during surgery. The prongs are usually curved or straight, depending on the specific purpose.
