Many orthopedic and neurosurgical spinal procedures require the insertion of pins to stabilize a repaired fracture or an inserted graft. These pins often need to be trimmed to allow them to be set at a more appropriate length for the individual patient and these cutter can be used for that. This instrument is double action and is side cutting and has a maximum capacity of 3.2 mm.
