6-3/4″ (17.0 cm) Smillie Meniscus Knife is ideally suited for surgical procedures of the knee. This instrument is specifically designs to cut and make incisions into the menisci found in the knee. A common injury is a tear to this cartilage which cushions the knee join. This knife features a T-shaped handle and a deep spatula type head making it well suited to handle the special tissue of the meniscus. Additionally this instrument is available curved left or right or straight with a chisel type profile making it suitable for a variety of surgical scenarios and surgeon preferences.
