This instrument is double acting and has handles that features notches that allow for an area to rest the handle and prevent slipping of the instrument ensuring a sure grip on the bone. This instrument can be used to enlarge holes to increase access and visibility to the surgical field. Additionally this rongeur is available in 9″, 10.5″or 10.75″ lengths and either curved or straight profile making it highly versatile and suited for any patient need or surgeon preference.
