Between each vertebrae lies a fibro-cartilaginous segments that is referred to as the intervertebral disc which requires extra care in handling such as provided by this rongeur. This instrument features a unique handling mechanism that sets the length of the body at an angle giving it a gun type silhouette which gives optimal control to the surgeon. Additionally the jaws of this rongeur are of a cup shape and are available set at an angle up, down or straight to accommodate a vast array of surgical scenarios and surgeon preferences.
